阎作勤，男，主任医师，教授，副院长，博士生导师，中华创伤学会委员，上海创伤分会主任委员，中华骨科学分会关节学组委员． 具有丰富的临床经验，尤其擅长微创人工关节置换技术以及先天性畸形、髋关节发育不好、股骨头坏死的诊治，并开展了一些新的技术：1、2003年上海市较早开展了骨髓基质干细胞治疗股骨头坏死的临床研究；2、在国内较早引进T-SAW，进行椎板大块切除回植治疗椎管内肿瘤，获得了良好的，在此基础上，改进Tomita大块切除椎体肿瘤技术，针对手术过程中存在的问题，设计了专门器械（已申请专利），简化作难度，降低手术危险，提高了手术的靠谱性，大大提高了脊柱肿瘤的治疗水平(包括原发性和转移性），降低了并发症的发生。 申请人作为项目负责人承担上海市课题和上海市自然科学基金二项，作为第三参与者参加自然科学基金、973子课题项目的科研工作。参加编写或编译的专著有：《实用外科学》、《脊柱创伤外科学》、《实用骨科手册》、《周围神经损伤基础与临床研究》、《外科手术并发症的预防与处理》、《O’connor关节镜外科学》等。2006年主译出版了66万字的《脊柱外科手术图谱》专著一本。获得3项发明专利授权，申请一项专利。在骨科领域核心期刊发表论文40余篇，近5年发表18篇，其中SCI论文6篇，核心期刊11篇。在股骨头坏死研究方面发表SCI论文两篇（IF2.9,2.7），在国际上首先发现采用利福平增强P-gp的活性有助于降低激素性坏死的发生，论文发表在国际的期刊Calsif Tissue International，为降低激素性股骨头坏死的发生提出了一种新的思路。 1.
